Reform: Iran proposed Belarus to usage its ports

Iran proposes Belarus to usage its confederate ports for trade with India, Africa and Southeast Asia. He made a proposal.Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade of Iran Mohammad Atabak at the 18th gathering of the joint Belarusian-Iran intergovernmental commission, writes Tehran Times.

The gathering besides discussed cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, science, culture and investment. Atabak highlighted the request to address problems in the banking sector and transit issues for drivers in order to guarantee predictable and efficient trade.

The head of the Belarusian delegation, Minister of manufacture Andrej Kuzniacou, said Belarus is ready to grow its cooperation with Iran in the fields of economical and industrial technologies, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, mechanical engineering, household appliances, food products and agricultural goods.

Among the priorities of cooperation in the close future, Kuznetov listed transport, transit corridors, education and cultural tourism.

The Ministry of manufacture of Belarus and the Ministry of Agriculture of Iran besides reached an agreement on the joint production of agricultural machinery and potassium fertilizers, informs the IRNA agency.

The Parties agreed that Iran will supply products and import agricultural natural materials from Belarus to Belarus. Tehran has expressed its willingness to guarantee the transit of Belarusian agricultural products to 3rd countries.

An agreement was besides reached on the supply of Belarusian potassium, which will be partially processed in Iran.
