On October 15, 2023, with the elections to the Sejm and the Senate, a referendum is scheduled. What questions will be possible Answer?
The first mention question on 11 August was announced by the president of Law and Justice, Jarosław Kaczyński. It will read: “Do you support the sale of state-owned enterprises?“.
The second mention question was announced on 12 August by the Euro MP, erstwhile Prime Minister Beata Szydło. It will read: “Are you in favour of raising the retirement age of 60 present for women and 65 for men?“.
The 3rd mention question was addressed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on 13 August. It will read: “Do you support the admission of thousands of illegal immigrants from the mediate East and Africa, in accordance with the forced relocation mechanics imposed by European bureaucracy?“.
On August 14, the 4th mention question was announced by the Minister of National Defence Mariusz Błaszczak. It will read: “Do you support the elimination of barriers at the border of the Republic of Poland with the Republic of Belarus?“.
These are all the questions the United Right Government wants to ask Poles in a referendum. On 16 and 17 August, a two-day session of the Sejm will be held; according to the timetable, it is to examine, among others, the request for a national referendum.
