The second recording was a alternatively long conversation between Roman Gierty and Donald Tuski, which covered a number of topics — from political strategy, moods in the organization to individual decisions of the head of the KO.

At the beginning, Roman Giertych tells Donald Tusk that he will not compete in the 2019 parliamentary election. I'm not taking off. It's not a substance of decision. It's a substance of decision more like Gregory. I was even inclined to run for this Sejm,” says Roman Gierty, who stated that he wanted to be a "two" on the Warsaw list to the Sejm, but at the same time assessed that it was Grzegorz Schetyna, who at that time was the leader of the Civic Coalition, who blocked his start. Both politicians have stated that this is simply a “mistake”.

Roman Gierty stated that he had a proposal to run for the Sejm from 5 districts, but in each of them he would lose. “ Somewhere in east Wielkopolska, Radom, all this shit, you know,” he said. “ Where they are,” replied Tusk.

— The moods in the organization are as much as you most likely know from me that if you choice up his leg, they will clean him up," said Roman Gierty.

— He won't just choice it up – Donald Tusk corrected it right away, to which Roman Gierty said "I'm sorry" 3 times. “God, I must teach German,” said Tusk, laughing at it. Gierty, in turn jokingly, stated that the Prime Minister "became attached to the large nation of Mozart and Goethe".

— I was brutally telling him, you know, at the end, I was pissed at him, you know, I was very clear. I told him that the run was just going the incorrect way, that his advisors were simply cheating him and that there was no indication that it was going the right way, says Roman Gierty on the video.

During the discussion, Roman Giertych mentioned another talks with crucial politicians of the Civic Coalition. He talked about the fact that he proposed that the group promotes Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, who in 2019 was the alleged 1 on the list of KOs in the parliamentary elections from the Warsaw district. “This is simply a very good thought from the point of view of any of our plans,” said Tusk, mentioning the advantages of Margaret Kidawa-Błońska. Let us remind you that a fewer months later in 2020 Margaret Kidawa-Błońska became a KO candidate in the presidential election. After a series of dramatic declines in support, her candidacy was yet withdrawn and replaced by Rafał Trzaskowski.

Roman Giertych stated that Grzegorz Schetyna would become “the face of defeat.”

— I will not forget it," said Donald Tusk.

Roman Gierty is making a statement. “Have a good listen”

Shortly after the video was released, Roman Gierty released a message on X:

"For 2 days now, the writing media has been publishing fragments of my conversations recorded from June to September 2019 by the Israeli PEGASUS program as part of an illegal operation led against me by the CBA," he wrote.

"In 2022 the Wrocław Gazeta Wyborcza informed about the fact of the recording of my conversation with Donald Tuski. It turns out that these conversations were elevated before the surrender of power and are in the hands of those associated with the Law and Justice. That was the real intent of utilizing Pegasus, " said Gierty.

Roman Giertych states that "the removal from the CBA of a copy of the talks, their transmission to the media and the publication of those talks are very serious crimes", and they should be punished.

Gierty claims that right-wing media print revenge tapes for having applied for recalculation of votes in a twelve committees in the presidential election due to suspected irregularities.

"Someone very much wants this case not to continue. It was decided to commit a number of crimes, exposure the media to the failure of broadcasting rights, only to hit me. Very interesting," he wrote.

“But those who are passionate about the content of private conversations have a good listen,” wrote Gierty on the X portal.

Gierty's telephone was bugged.

Roman Giertych was under surveillance through the Pegasus system, first informed in 2021 by the Citizen laboratory group, an institution operating at the University of Toronto. Citizen laboratory experts are investigating the impact of information and communication technologies on human rights, freedom of speech and security.

In an interview with Onet, the analyst explained the operation of Pegasus, which enabled a strategy that “can access our messages, encrypted messages, chats, emails, contacts and even enable microphoneor our camera.’ “ Above all, however, it has constant access to our online profiles even erstwhile the telephone ceases to be infected. I mean like iCloud or e-mails. This is due to the theft of tokens. This is very disturbing due to the fact that erstwhile the equipment infected by Pegasus gives access to constant monitoring of the lives of the owners, e.g. telephones.

Other victims of Pegasus surveillance in Poland were the prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek, Senator Krzysztof Brejza or erstwhile head of AgroUnion Michał Kołodziejczak.
