For 4 days, the masters fought for medals of the 40th Polish Championships at the Distances. In the Ice Arena in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, soldiers who won 21 discs were very good: 5 zlotys, 9 silver ones and 7 bronze ones. Twice on the highest phase the podium stood wide. Magdalena Pczyszczoń, who triumphed at a distance of 5000 m and in the squad run.
– Most of the players in the Polish squad are soldiers and I am pleased with their results, which they gained at the national championship. Thanks to this, they besides provided themselves with seats in the squad for the upcoming planet Cup competitions, where they will besides be able to fight for passes for the Olympic Games in Milan," says Konrad Bearwives, sports manager of the Polish advanced Skating Association. In Salt Lake City (14–16 November) and in Calgary (21–23 November), respective representatives of the Polish Army have a chance to appear – the squad will shortly accept the board of PZL.
The sports manager of PZL besides praises the organizers of the championship in Tomaszów Mazowiecki for excellent preparation of ice. – It was surely 1 of the best, if not the best ice in the Ice Arena ever. This was utilized by the players and we are very happy about it, due to the fact that these competitions were very advanced – admits the Bears, who won bronze in the squad race 11 years ago on Olympic Games in Sochi.
Most of the soldiers on the podium were standing in the Ice arena, dir. Natalia Jabrzyk, who won competition in the squad sprinkling with her friends from Tomašov, and besides won a silver medal in the race for 1500 m and bronze in the run for 5000 m and in the squad run. In the squad sprinkling she ran for the gold along with S. W. spec. Karolina Bosiek And Sophia the Marshal. In turn, in the squad run, the squad from Pilica went with the lineup: Jabrzyk, Marshal and Iga Smejda.

I am optimistic about the further part of the period in which Olympic qualifications will be the most important, and the main goal of the Milan Olympics – says the CGM.
On the another hand, 4 medals in the Ice Arena were won. Magdalena Pczyszczoń from the 1st Mazurian Artillery Brigade in Węgorzew. She won the rivalry at a distance of 5,000 m and with her colleagues triumphed in the squad run. The gold went with her. Iga Wojtasik from the 9th Armoured Cavalry Brigade in Braniewo and the 1st MBA ranger Olga Piotrowska. In addition, Pczyszczoń won 2 runner-up titles: at 3000 m distance and in squad sprinkling. Her partners were besides Wojtasik and Piotrowska. We gotta add that the fence. Olga Piotrowska, in addition to 2 squad medals, won 2 individual trophies in Tomaszów Mazowiecki: bronze at a distance of 3000 m and bronze in the mass race.
From the typical of the Polish Army on the podium in the Ice Arena there was inactive a wide range. Martyna Baran from the Warsaw Conservation Brigade, who triumphed in the 500 m run and together with her colleagues from the Warsaw Skating Society Stegny won a bronze medal in squad sprint.
Among the representatives of the Polish Academy of Fine Arts, the medals in Tomaszów Mazowiecki were won by Marek Kania and Szer. Marcin Bachanek from the 9th Armoured Cavalry Brigade and by Szymon Palka, Wier. Piotr Michalski and Wier. Jakub Piotrowski from the 1st Mazury Artillery Brigade. Kania won the country's runner-up titles at sprint distances: 500 and 1000 m. Bachanek triumphed in the mass race. Palka won silver medals at 5,000 and 10,000 m, Michalski was 3rd in 500 m, and Piotrowski was second in squad sprinkling.
