Record number of fathers on parental leave. ZUS has released the latest data

In Poland, we are seeing a dynamic increase in the number of fathers who decide to take parental leave. According to the latest data from the Share The Care Foundation and the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), in just 1 year the number of fathers taking advantage of this benefit has more than doubled - from 19,000 in 2023 to almost 42,000 in 2024. Importantly, this is eleven times more than in 2022.
