More than 100 volunteers started 'WOT holidays' in the 6th Mazovia Territorial Defence Brigade. This is the biggest vocation this year in the region. Before candidates 16 days of training, and after that – solemn oath.
The incarnation began on Saturday morning at the barracks in Radom. After crossing the gate of the military unit, volunteers underwent medical examinations and fitness tests, then received uniformation and received a number of trainings. Later, they moved to Princedom, where under the supervision of experienced instructors they would learn the basics of military life. These include weapon handling, tactics, field movement, field medicine, as well as drills and regulations. 16-day training will end with a applicable test of acquired cognition called 'tactic loop'. Everyone who completes the loop will make a solemn military oath.
Different from each another - combined with service
Future soldiers represent different environments, and civilian life is afraid with different areas. Among the recently incarnate were students and students, but besides a teacher – people who want to usage the summertime break for training. However, the gates of the Radom unit were besides crossed by representatives of another professions, including journalist, athletics coach or mechanic. The youngest are 18 years old, the oldest female and man is 54 years old. The average age of the incarnation participants is 24.5 years. Although there are many, there is simply a common goal - the desire to service the Homeland.

The motivations are different - any want to test their capabilities, others – as part of basic training and then rotation training – change the environment. However, all these people share 1 goal - the desire to service the Homeland in the ranks of the Territorial Defence Army - says Colonel Witold Bubak, commander of the 6th Mazovian Territorial Defence Brigade.
‘WOT holidays’ for the 5th time
Basic training will last until mid-July and is carried out under the task 'WOT Holiday'. It is aimed at those who have not had any contact with the military so far, and its program will let volunteers to prepare for territorial military service. It's the 5th edition.

After 8 days, the volunteers will be joined by reservists who are already behind their military oath and will refresh their cognition at the camp. The solemn oath is scheduled for 14 July in Radom, accompanied by a military equipment show. They will be able to talk to territorials about service, experience and training.
