The first president of the ultimate Court, Zbigniew Kapiński, convened an extraordinary General Assembly on Tuesday in defence of the current leadership of the Constitutional Tribunal. The problem is that the ultimate Court has no competence to interfere in the affairs of the Constitutional Tribunal, and its possible resolution will be only a political appeal. 28 judges protested against the court's engagement in the political war and boycotted Tuesday's session.
