Let us remind that the Military Medical Academy in Łódź was originally founded in 1957. In the 1990s, it was gradually liquidated. It was yet closed in 2003. However, a 4th of a century after its liquidation, the expanding armed forces faced the request to make a fresh model of training of military doctors adapted to the needs of the army and the challenges that arose in the 21st century. This is not only about the wellness and life of soldiers, but besides about the safety of the full society in terms of the military's function in civilian protection.
