In the face of unpredictable events specified as power failure, natural disasters or war situations, it is worth knowing how to prepare for hard moments. The Government safety Centre (RCB), in cooperation with the Ministry of abroad Affairs and the Ministry of Defence, is working on a peculiar guide to aid Poles last in crisis situations. However, before the guide reaches our hands, it is worth starting to act now. This is what experts advise.
Water and food stocks – the basis for survival
Piotr Błaszczyk, RCB spokesman, stresses that it is essential to gather water and food supplies. "We urge that you prepare 2 liters of water per individual per day, or 14 liters per week. This may not be much, but it will let us to survive," he noted. It is besides worth taking care of food that does not require thermal treatment, specified as canned or ingested foods.
Let us besides not forget our 4 - footed friends. If there are animals in the house, you should collect a supply of food for them.
Medicines and medical supplies – wellness first
Each household should have a first aid kit with basic dressings, painkillers and anti-inflammatory medicines. Those taking permanent medicines should take care of their adequate supply to guarantee their health.
Hygiene in hard conditions – how to cope?
One of the most embarrassing but highly crucial topics is hygiene in crisis situations, e.g. during black-out, erstwhile there is no moving water. RCB advises you to prepare in advance for specified circumstances.
"Swedish in their guidebook advises to return the stool to bags that can then be thrown away, or simply into garbage bags. Urine does not request to be 'dropped', due to the fact that it will flow itself, but in case of 'greater need' its function can besides be fulfilled by a bucket with a sealed lid, the contents of which will be emptied erstwhile it is possible to leave the house," explained Błaszczyk.

RCB, together with the Ministry of abroad Affairs and MON, prepares a guide to aid Poles last hard situations. It will be based on an earlier “Be Ready” guide and on the Swedish brochure “In the event of a crisis or war”. The digital version of the guide is to be available in April.
Summary
