MSPO is of exceptional importance for Polish national defence. They're gathering representatives of the Polish armed forces, delegations of our NATO friends, ambassadors. It is an excellent forum for dialogue, networking and signing multimillion contracts among exhibitors from different parts of the planet looking for the most modern defence products. For us, for our government – for the Ministry of National Defence, for me as the Minister of National Defence – cooperation in the field of safety is simply a sacred order, arising from the Constitution, the rights of the Republic, and truly from the request of the heart – to care for the welfare and safety of the homeland.
Polish army has excellent soldiers – prepared, experienced in abroad missions, educated commanders. In terms of numbers, we are the 3rd army in NATO. Our country survives The largest military transformation period In his story. This includes modernization, organizational changes, construction of drone troops, large investments, specified as Eastern Shield, and creating the top defence potential. As 1 of the fewer North Atlantic Pact countries, Poland has planned to spend on defence, modernisation and transformation of the army at a level close to 5% of GDP.
