On 22 May, the KORONA Agricultural Union spoke to the Prime Minister in view of the fact that RARS inactive did not answer to the purchasing companies that had submitted bids by 14 April as part of a procedure loudly announced by the RARS purchasing government. We should remind you that this acquisition was to be 1 of the elements of the solution to the problem of oversupply of cereals. Information about the Union's intervention was besides provided by net media.
The RARS responded and we have another embarrassment. According to trade companies participating in Polish Grain Day, On May 24, RARS sent an email to the bidders, that:
So you don't know erstwhile or at what price. 1 of the companies in RARS's answer was to claim that We submitted the offer on 14 April 2023 and the merchandise we reported we inactive hold. We could have already sold it at prices that were in force on 14 April, and now you compose that we will be subject to the prices of quotations for the marketplace of Cereals published on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and agrarian Development, i.e. for this moment, that is simply a bit of a fraud on your part. And there is no way to disagree with that. Another company informed us that, fortunately, she did not believe RARS and in the meantime sold grain for export.
Unfortunately, as in a hurry, one email was sent collectively to all bidders in open mode (i.e. not in a copy of the hidden UAD). As a result, each of the bidders could find out who else made the offer. The next day RARS considered that this was an worker error, the event was treated as a breach of individual data protection, and tenderers, if they have any questions regarding the event described, are to contact the individual data protection officer.
According to the CORON Council, we are dealing with faulty procedures, and the full event is not a problem with individual data protection, as RARS claims, but commercial secrecy. The assurance of the RARS about the safety of the bidders in question, under the circumstances, sounds like a good joke.
