Two months ago (23.09) Operation FENIKS launched. all day, soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces are active in the removal of flood effects, restoration of local infrastructure and restoration of the functionality of public usage facilities. Their tasks are supported by the Government strategical Reserve Agency, which enables effective transportation of assistance in disaster areas.
The Government strategical Reserve Agency (RARS) ensures the provision of strategical food, medical and method supplies and fuel supplies not only during peace but above all in the event of armed conflict, public wellness threats, natural disasters or another emergencies. erstwhile the south of Poland affected the apparent flood, it became clear that a strong partner from the government would join the assistance of soldiers of the Polish Army and another services.
"The Government strategical Reserve Agency has been actively supporting both residents of flooded areas and the full Polish state apparatus since the first hours of September. As part of Operation FENIKS we participated in the construction of a temporary school in Żelaź. 3 bridge crossings have been made available from our resources. Together with WOT, we besides delivered containers to Bardo and sanitary containers for the school in Lewina Brzeski, thus allowing it to operate. During the state of disaster, 1 of the RARS components became a logistics hub to which and from which we transported the essential assortment. We have travelled over 50,000 km and carried out over 200 direct transports. Our resources were active 24 hours a day. To the benefit of people affected by floods, we donated an assortment of about PLN 65 million.

An crucial aspect of support is not only immediate action, but besides the securing of materials that can be utilized in the future. As part of Operation FENIKS, an assortment of more than PLN 35 million was sent to the Army.
This amount shall consist, inter alia, of:
100 office containers,
200 fire dams,
500 field beds,
nearly 1,700 medical devices and medicines,
10 water tanks of 5000 l,
100 light masts,
and equipment specified as bag fillers, heaters, aggregates, mobile woodcutters and suits, disinfection fluids and oxygen cylinders. The vast majority of the resources provided are tools, equipment and equipment that will be utilized by soldiers in the event of further emergencies.
The cooperation of the RARS with the Polish Army is common support in crisis management and the effective transportation of assistance to the needy residents and local governments affected by the flood. It is besides a building of long-term resilience, which makes it efficient and without major problems to tackle the effects of natural disasters.
It's not the first time RARS has worked shoulder to shoulder in the Army. As part of the operation, typical SPIRIT/SPECIENT RESISTANCE, WOT soldiers distributed individual protective equipment and food provided by the Agency from warehouses in Arrows, Ljubljana and Komorów. erstwhile a full-scale war broke out across our east border, and the soldiers joined the UNFAIR AID operation, a logistics task to deliver and install field beds at reception points and segregation of gifts at collection points organized by voivodships and local governments, followed by their transport to the warehouses of the Government strategical Reserve Agency. These actions are the consequence of an agreement signed in 2022 between WOT and RARS.
