Raiffeisen suspends sale of Russian unit. inactive making money there

Austrian Raiffeisen Bank global (RBI) has halted the sale of its Russian business, forced by the European Central Bank. The Austrians were the largest bank sponsor of Putin's war, and the profits of the Russian branch accounted for half of the full group's earnings. Called to leave Russia, they did everything to stay there and gain money. Now they are citing the Russia-US talks and the Kremlin's actions.
