On Friday, January 15, 2026, Warsaw president Rafał Trzaskowski signed a contract to plan a fresh tram section. This is another step that will let the people of the capital to decision more smoothly around the city. According to the assumptions, the way will connect the Will to West Station. According to the Warsaw Trams portal, the section is 1.4 km long, of which 0.9 km will be led by underground channels. The first date for the start of the work has already been estimated.

Today we signed a contract to plan a fresh tram section from Wola to West Railway Station. It will connect to the current way between Grójecka Street and West Railway Station. Thanks to this we make a fast and comfortable tram connection between Wola and Volota, and yet all the way to Wilanów!
