Left candidate Adrian Zandberg and Confederate candidate Sławomir Mentzen were not present at any of the events. Another debate will be held on Monday 14 April announced by the tv Republic.
The Citizen Coalition candidate Rafał Trzaskowski took part in a debate broadcast by 3 tv stations, but did not appear in a debate organized by the right-wing station. He referred to events in Koński during a gathering with voters in Świdnica.
— They decided to make their own debate in pseudotelevision with set questions, screaming, with bad emotions and trying to pretend that it was a real discussion. I hope that no average person, no 1 who is watching the political scene in Poland today, will fall for it," he said.

Mr Trzaskowski besides pointed to the "hypocrisy of the counter-candidates", recalling that they had an appointment for the debate on 12 May.

So I thought, why not? 1 in 1 will be able to learn more than a fewer formulas by heart. Unfortunately, as it was expected to be 1 in one, my competitor did absolutely everything to avoid appearing so that there was no substantive discussion, deepened between the 2 candidates," he said, speaking of Karol Nawrocki.
