Another edition and another record. present ended the XXXIV global Defence manufacture Exhibition in Kielce. The event brought together the leaders of the arms industry, and at the stands prepared by them 1 could see equipment and weapons that specify a modern battlefield. Traditionally, the last accent of MSPO was the presentation of awards.
Courage – this is the word, according to Andrzej Mochoń, president of the Kielce Fair, best describes International Defence manufacture Exhibition. The decision of more than 30 years ago to organise an arms fair in Kielce, as well as later decisions to invest in the improvement of the fair centre, in which the event takes place all year, required courage. Today's 34th edition of MSPO is the fruit of this courage. And it was a evidence event in all respect. Never before has the Salon hosted so many visitors (45 1000 people), so many state delegations (more than 40 countries) and so many exhibitors. 1200 companies and institutions presented their products this year. In comparison, there were only half as many as 4 years ago.
MSPO has established its position in the absolute top of exhibition arms manufacture events in Europe. He proved that no major maker of equipment and weapons could skip the Kielce fair on his calendar, and everyone curious in buying specified products can number on seeing a truly comprehensive offer here. But the ambition of the organizers reaches higher. As declared in his interview with “Polish Armed Forces” Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish, the goal is to outrun the event that takes place in London, or DSEI.
– I have no uncertainty that we have shown together that it is in Kielce that the arms heart of Europe beats – she said Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence and president of the MSPO Programme Council. In her opinion, the fair besides showed how the modern battlefield is changing. – erstwhile we talked about awards, there was not so much about dense equipment. The equipment is getting smaller, compact, modern, due to the fact that the technology changes all day – noted the Deputy Minister.
The next year's MSPO edition will take place from 31 August to 3 September, and Turkey will be a partner country.
