Accepting to Qantas, this fresh boarding method is expected to save between one and 3 minutes per flight, reduced congestion, and better admit loyal customers.

Qantas’ current home boarding approach has faced regular criticism and is easy seen as needing an overhaul. The existing strategy has just 2 groups: 1 for precedence boarding and 1 for general boarding.

This strategy frequently fails due to mediocre forcement by gate agents, partially with the precedence line, which is freely mered with general boarding, thus offering no real benefit to loyal Qantas customers.
