W Düsseldorf was admired by large figures on platforms that pulled tractors. They were prepared by an outstanding caricatureist and sculptor Jacques Tilly, who again ruthlessly mocked Putin and Trump and, for the first time, Jeffrey Epstein. It was fun, but not really. In December last year Tilly was accused of insulting the president, state authorities and the Russian army before a court in Moscow. He's 10 years behind bars. The proceeding will resume on February 26.
There are concerns that Tilly is being watched by Putin’s services. The artist assures that he is not afraid, but just in case, following the advice of the Ministry of abroad Affairs, he will not go to countries that have an extradition arrangement with Moscow (including India, Serbia, Egypt). It is impossible to defy the impression that the Kremlin managed to intimidate the “fools”. Parade organizers in another cities resigned this year from Putina satire. Marc Michelske, who led the march in Cologne, explained: “We publically expressed our solidarity with Tilly. In my opinion, we do not gotta do this by showing the car with a figure.”
Jacques Tilly performed a small softer. Last year he showed a Russian dictator bathing in Ukrainian blood. On this Rosary Monday, you could see Putin's image, which he hits on the head with a paper fan of a small carnival clown with the inscription "satira" on his cap, and the Kremlin tyrant beats him with a sword. On another Putin and Trump platform they devour a small light-haired female – Europe. The president of the United States was besides portrayed as beating Jesus with his fist in the crown of thorns. Trump has an ICE on his sleeve. This is the Customs-Immigration Office conducting violent raids on migrants. Christ is dressed in a tunic with the inscription “love & humanity”.
On another platform, he threatened posthumously the notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as the horned devil with bat wings. The inscriptions on the wings shouted, “Everybody protects the perpetrators!”, “Everybody ignores the victims.” The horns of Satan were filled with young women.
