Russian president Vladimir Putin signed a decree to establish the Main Staff of the National defender (Rosgwardy) which will service as the intelligence unit of this formation. It will be headed by 72-year-old General Viktor Zolotov, erstwhile head of safety for Putin, presently in command of Rosgwardia. In Poland it is known mainly from memes as "gen. Denaturov".
