Putin's last firewall

The national Protection Service is 1 of the least known structures of the Russian safety apparatus. Almost all information about its activities is classified. The FSO is primarily part of the state safety apparatus, which not only carries out criminal activities internationally, but is itself a de facto criminal structure. It is considered Putin's last barrage, and General Dmitri Kochnev, the erstwhile head of the President's safety Service, is expected to obey him blindly.
