Vladimir Putin made a telephone call to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanjah on Monday. The Russian leader called for the territorial integrity of Syria after the fresh Israeli shelling of Damascus. The Kremlin besides declared its readiness to mediate in negotiations on the Iranian atomic programme.
