Vladimir Putin stated that during a gathering with U.S. president Donald Trump last period in Alaska he reached "agreements" on the end of the war in Ukraine. However, he did not uncover whether he would agree to peace talks with the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski. Importantly, Trump set him Monday September 1st as a deadline for response.

During the China Summit, Putin besides defended his decision to invade, again blaming the Western conflict and claiming that the war was the consequence of "a coup d'état in Ukraine supported by the West" and "continuous attempts to drag Ukraine into NATO".
Putin met in Tiencin (China) with China and India leaders: Xi Jinping and Narendra Modi, thanking them for their support and efforts to "make the solution to the Ukrainian crisis easier". China and India stay the biggest recipients of Russian oil.
As we wrote on Temat.pl, the western partners of Ukraine have already developed a preliminary three-part plan to safe the state after the end of the war – he late reported "Financial Times", citing diplomatic sources.

According to the proposal along the line of demarcation, a demilitarised region would be created, protected by neutral peace forces originating from countries accepted by both Kiev and Moscow. It would be followed by a heavy fortified defensive line cast by Ukrainian troops trained and armed by the NATO army.
The 3rd pillar of the plan would be deterrence forces deployed deeper into Ukraine. They would be commanded by Europe, but reinforced by American strategical support. However, it is the presence of abroad troops in Ukraine that raises doubts about any politicians and public opinion in Europe.
Andrij Jermak, head of the Ukrainian President's office, confirmed the findings of the Financial Times. As he noted, "each state in the coalition will contribute, and the full will be a mix of military, political and economical support".
At the same time this weekend, European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen in an interview with the British paper "Financial Times" revealed that the work on the safety warrant plan for Ukraine "is going very well". She informed that Europe had a "clear action plan" and reached agreement on this with the United States.
"The president of the United States Donald Trump assured us that American presence would be part of the safety for Ukraine," said von der Leyen. She noted that this was confirmed respective times.
