Putin does not want to change the doctrine of atomic weapons – for what?

Vladimir Putin confirmed on Thursday that he did not intend to change the rules for the usage of the Russian deterrence strategy and would proceed to be “only” 2 reasons for the Russian usage of atomic weapons. Putin, however, did not change his approach to the war in Ukraine overestimating respective times the losses suffered by Ukrainians and indicating the objectives of his policy completely disconnected from the war reality.
