On 5 November 2025 an open gathering was held in Puławy with Mr. Adam Borowski, the legend of Solidarity – as part of the promotion of the book Peowiaczka – couriers, intelligence soldiers. The author presented the most beautiful cards of our history, portraits and résumés of large Polish women who, as soldiers of the Polish Military Organization, faced a victorious fight for the revival of Homeland. The memory of them was removed by communists from public space. It was an highly inspiring and moving meeting, full of historical testimonies that reminded us of the strength of the Polish conflict for freedom and the request to sustain memory.
During the meeting, the guest besides addressed a number of current topics concerning the political situation in Poland and the discussion focused on hard issues for Poles.
The lecture was preceded by a mini performance of patriotic songs, performed by our club sympathizer Mr. Robert Krygier. It was a wonderful introduction to the atmosphere of the upcoming 11th November National independency Regaining Day.
