What is more crucial for national security: the EU task SAFE or the social and business contacts of Marshal Czarzasty with the Russian, who in fact is simply a Polish citizen. Or possibly neither Czarzasty nor SAFE just the Council of Peace, in which members – for a billion dollars – president Trump guarantees global safety until his last days. If these 3 projects could be weighed, however, SAFE, due to the undeniable benefits for defence and security, should be of top interest to politicians, the president and Members.
President Karol Nawrocki does not hide that this is an interesting proposal for the army, but raises many doubts. On the another hand, right-wing politicians are not playing nuances, they are beating straight-up that SAFE is an EU trap – Prime Minister Tusk has invented, the European Commission has supported, so trust should not be trusted. The members of the Law and Justice Office do not find that behind the SAFE task there is to be large money – about PLN 190 billion – for the improvement of the Polish arms industry, for reinforcement of the army, in general to increase our security. If they give, they take; if they beat, they run. They give on favorable terms. Low interest rate, ten-year grace and long-term repayment, until 2070.
There's no money yet, and the opposition already has a headache. PiS Members are already afraid that in 2027, erstwhile they win elections and return to rule, the European Commission, under the conditionality enshrined in the SAFE project, can block measures. president Kaczyński already scares Germans. He is certain that the most advantage of the task will be the West Germany. Germany does not join the SAFE programme, which means "fear on Lachy". Germany will yet buy weapons from us from expanded plants with the money from SAFE. Minister Sikorski noted that president Kaczyński had already "gone away" – he does not remember that Germany is our ally and co-operator.
At the Sejm's mouthpiece, supporting the PiS run against SAFE, Mariusz Błaszczak “orbitated”. erstwhile Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, MP PiS, and now vice president of the party, in September 2025 he wrote on the X site that "SAFE fund is simply a chance to make the Polish Armed Forces". present the same Błaszczak is the main critic of this program. Well, after president Kaczyński, MPs with a rope. The president does not like everything EU, money from the EU too. So I vote against, and I vote for the president, like your mother. Well, you can't accept EU projects, but why do you want to do a brawl in the Sejm and turn the plenary area into a tribal arena? Offensive cries from the parliamentary benches, sledgehogs for opponents, inexhaustible vocabulary, invectors. It got into coalitions, it got into the European Union. The cameras have turned everything into the world. Members presented themselves in action. Not the first time. The example comes from rural. There are no shortages of copycats – in the tram, bus, on the street. If Members can, then why should citizens be different? Fortunately, not the full nation has gone crazy...
