Three-time Olympic medalist in ski jumps Kacper Tomasiak will not execute in the planet Cup finals this weekend in Planica. She will stay home, she needs to rest," said staff coach Maciej Maciusiak.

On Sunday, Tomasiak fell over during qualifying for the PE competition at a mammoth jump in Norwegian Vikersund. On landing, 1 ski did not unhook, and he turned himself and hit his head backwards on a jump. The competition was yet cancelled due to besides strong wind.

The baby said the young jumper was fine and on his way home.

- Casper was discharged from the hospital. He's been through all the tests, including MRI. There are no fractures. We landed at 5:45 at the airport in Kraków-Balice. Now he's on his way home," said the HR coach.

Will Tomasiak accompany his teammates to Planica?

– There were plans for him to stay with us until the end, but he better rest. He's very tired. Casper's staying home. Planica next year – added Maciusiak.

In Vikersund Tomasiak competed for the first time in his career on a mammoth jump. The final planet Cup competition in Planica will besides be held on this kind of facility from 26 to 29 March.
