Prepared for war, or Swedish universal defense

The transformation of the Swedish safety policy is an crucial point of mention for the countries of Central and east Europe. A country that inactive had limited military capabilities a decade ago and actually suspended the general population, present plans to scope more than 130,000 troops in the war structure by 2035 and maintains a network of about 65,000 civilian shelters. At the same time, the work of citizens to last on their own for a week has been introduced, which clearly shows that universal defence is not just the domain of the military, but the common effort of society as a whole. From the position of the region, and especially Poland, this means that we request to combine modernization of the army with consistent strengthening of civilian defence.
