Opening of the hearing
Jarosław Kaczyński appeared before the committee of enquiry on correspondence elections around 10:15. The proceeding began at 10:18 p.m. after welcoming the head of the committee, Dariusz Joński. erstwhile asked if he understood the message, Kaczyński replied in support. There was an oath.
Jarosław Kaczyński applied for free speech but was rejected. Dariusz Joński explained that his decision was due to the request to guarantee the appropriate functioning of the committee. The president of the Law and Justice Office lodged an appeal against the rejection of the application which was put to the vote. 11 Members voted, 4, against 6, and 1 individual abstained.
