Przemysław Kicowski: What about Poland?

If you're following my profile, you know that I seldom talk on geopolitical issues, especially those that do not straight concern our representatives of power.

However, yesterday's Trump gathering with Zelenski and the brawl that it caused are, in my opinion, highly crucial and can be groundbreaking not only for Ukraine but for Europe as a whole.

I'm not going to consider who was right about Trump, the relation with the United States or the approach to war? Yes, I represent the Confederate and the National Movement, but in this situation, it doesn't substance who's from which party. I look forward to the comments of politicians in social media – alternatively of drawing conclusions, they like to attack each other. any blindly believe in U.S. guarantees (which I believe has not been there since yesterday, but more so), others ridicule those who enjoyed Trump's victory, others criticize Zelenski for his outfit or simply throw mud at opponents.

Yet all of this is irrelevant to the consequences of this meeting. My opinion (I point out that this is just my opinion) coincides with what he has long said Jacek Bartosiak. The Americans wanted to force Ukraine into an unfavorable arrangement, promising "tears on willow", and actually giving nothing concrete. The Trump administration strives for peace, but for the price that Ukraine would bear – and, of course, by the way, they wanted to play something for themselves.

Did Zelenski make the right decision by giving up this agreement? Or did he know that the US investment guarantees were not as solid as it might seem?

In my opinion, the fact lies in the middle. The Americans outbid, claiming that Ukraine has nothing to say. They ignored Europe and put themselves in a position of force, but conflict with the full planet (EU, China, Russia, Canada, South America) could cost them dearly. However, it is actual that the EU has done small in the last 3 years to gain a place at the negotiating table. Europe's arms manufacture is inactive lying and the Green Deal is inactive in force.

Ukraine claims to be able to wage war for another year or more if it receives support from Europe. The question is, at what cost? The country is ruined, hundreds of thousands of people have died, millions have escaped, and Russian troops are slow moving forward. Moreover, Ukraine's terrible abroad policy towards Poland – economical conflicts, Volyn, UPA, threats to Polish politicians. The threats of death and Mentzen's inclusion on the list of "enemies of Ukraine" are political suicide. How Ukrainian authorities imagine diplomacy if Sławomir Mentzen Will he be president of Poland?

The fact is – everyone cares about peace, but everyone prefers to bluff alternatively of real judgment. Who's profiting? Only Russia. “Where 2 fight, there is simply a 3rd one” – and that is precisely what it looks like now.

For Europe, conclusions are brutal. American guarantees present mean little, and Russia knows it. Trump, a dry businessman, throws words to the wind and then withdraws from them. If the U.S. President's words are meaningless, how much does the U.S. warrant in NATO mean?

Europe must take work for its safety and immediately! The EU should retreat from the Green Deal overnight, free energy regulations to bring electricity prices back to normal. This will stimulate an manufacture that should focus on armaments. The current situation in which Russia produces more missiles than the full EU is unacceptable.

What about Poland? All our safety is based on the US. We have U.S. weapons, and politicians say that erstwhile we buy weapons from the US, we buy security. What if America backs down like allies in 1939?

We request a cross-party plan!

Reconstruction of the Polish arms industry

Diversification of arms supply

Investment in Polish technology thought

little regulation, more real action!

The splits must go to the another end. The safety of Poland should be a priority!
