The WOT Przemysl Brigade trains hunters and energyists

On 14-15 October 2025, soldiers of 201 battalion of defence border from the 20th Przemysl Territorial Defence Brigade of Gen. Gen. Stefan Rowecki ps. ‘Grot’ conducted training from military adoption organized by the Territorial Defence Army for representatives of the Polish Hunting Union and the Polish Energy Group.

The Przemysł and the surrounding areas were training areas for military adoption for employees of the Treasury Companies. It was attended by hunters of the Polish Hunting Union - the Regional Board of manufacture and the Polish Energy Group Distribution S.A. Think Division. The nonsubjective of the task was to strengthen defence capacity and to make cooperation between civilian and military environments, peculiarly in the context of the protection of critical infrastructure and consequence to regional crises.

During the training participants took part in classes in the field of:

RECLAMA

first medical aid in field conditions,
safe usage of weapons,
communication and field navigation,
coordination of energy infrastructure emergency situations,
Survival.

Since the beginning of its existence, the WOT Przemysl Brigade focuses on cooperation with social and economical partners. Hunters and energy sector workers are people with large potential, who can supply crucial support to troops and local communities in crisis situations.

Representatives of the Polish Hunting Union pointed out that the experience of hunters in moving in forest areas and cognition of local conditions may prove invaluable during the defence efforts of the country.

In turn, the Polish Energy Group pointed to the importance of cooperation with WOT in the field of critical infrastructure protection, especially in the face of expanding hybrid threats.

Instructors 201 defence battalion bordering 20. The Industrial Territorial Defence Brigade trained 49 hunters and energy workers within 2 days.
