Operation “Safe Podlasie” launched on 1 August 2024 aims to defend Polish-Belarusian as well as Polish-Lithuanian border against illegal migration, driven by the Belarusian regime. The operation is simply a continuation of earlier assistance to the Border defender provided by the Polish Army. The 2nd Amendment of the Task Force "Podlasie", presented by the Szczecin division, has worked since 1 February with soldiers from the 11th Lubuska Division of Armoured Cavalry, the Territorial Defence Army, the Military Gendarmery, together supporting efforts of SG officers. 7 soldiers were left during the shift.
