In Television, the Republic so badly wanted Orbán to win the election that they forgot the reality of the election process. On Sunday, a fewer minutes after 20 o'clock, the first partial results of the vote (2.5 percent) were shown on tv Republic's stripes as own. Behind the Hungarian National Election Office, the Republic communicated to its viewers that Fidesz was winning with TISHA 53 to 36%. I imagine Sakiewicz jumping with joy, as if he had won the elections in Hungary. The tallness of our predictions! We're going in red! And so for over an hour, the Republic has confused viewers with Viktor Orbán's "great victory".
Other media, TVN24, TVP Info, Polsat, recognizing the first partial results as immoderate, completely ignored them. The viewers of the “home of free speech” had to be greatly confused when, after 21 p.m., the Republic had to inform them that Orbán congratulated Magyar on his victory. For many, it was a thunderbolt. So good was the triumph of Orbán on the Republic's stripes, and here was a surprise.
This misinformation cannot be classified as a mistake or an accident at work. It was a conscious choice. Lying to reality is 1 of the many propaganda skills of the Republican station. Only Kurski's tv was better at drowning people. The tv station in Poland24 tries to match, but in this competition it loses. However, in competition incompetence was won by publishers with chief Olechowski at the head. The most prominent media expert would not have predicted this, and publishers of the Republic did: they thought Orbán won, although he lost. There is no specified study, but I can presume that many of the most faithful viewers of the Republic inactive believe that Orbán won the election, only “regime” televisions lied.
The followers of the “flat Earth” know their own, Sakiewicz and Rachon will not lead them out of error, the more they apologize for misinformation. The Republic of Disinformation has blood. It's like a credo, and sometimes it compromises the station, it doesn't substance to propaganda.
In post-election Monday tv Republic in its perverse way explained why Orbán lost. Not due to the fact that he was pro-Russian, due to the fact that he was friends with the Putin criminal, due to the fact that he devastated the state, but due to the EU's excessive interference in the Hungarian elections. And Tusk besides contributed to this defeat.
