Americans negociate atomic deal with Iranians?

There was speculation in the press about ongoing talks between the US and Iran. Biden's administration is reported to have agreed to unfreeze any of the Iranian assets that are presently remaining in Iraq and South Korea. In return, Tehran is not to enrich uranium above 60% and free abroad prisoners who stay in Iranian prisons.

However, Washington officially denies that it is close to reaching an agreement with Iran. There is speculation in the press that the US-Iran agreement will not be written, but will be an informal deal, implicitly concluded. Biden's administration is to fear the opposition of Congress, where representatives of both parties are very reluctant to approach the thought of a “mini-agreement” with Iran.

The talks between the U.S. and Iran are mainly to be held through Oman. The Oman diplomats have in fact confirmed that they are conducting mediation, but stress that the case concerns only the exchange of prisoners.

In my opinion, it cannot be excluded that the USA and Iran are actually close to any informal agreement. erstwhile Ajatollah Chamenei announced more “flexibility” in atomic negotiations a fewer weeks ago, he may have been referring to specified a mini-agreement with America, concluded on the word of honor.
