Feeling

I am no expert and attentive observer of Russia, but for any time I have a unusual feeling that Russian media, which I comparatively regularly observe, are different. So far there has been no criticism of a peculiar military operation. Now she's gone, too, but there's been voices that things are taking besides long. These are not any open words of criticism, but palpable opinions. Another is the speech of speech on Trump. Although the authoritative speech has not changed, so far the media has echoed this authoritative tone. Since the Tomahawk case got loud, the speech has changed. That's not what Putin says, that's not what the media says more and more often.

Turns out I'm not the only 1 who noticed. Gilbert Doctorow, who has been watching Russia for decades and is simply a much better expert than me, has noticed much more. We Yesterday's interview with Norwegian analyst Glenn Diesel highlighted the changes in Russian television. I don't watch it, so I didn't know about it. He besides pointed out the message made on Youtube by the well-known Russian commentator Vladimir Solovov. He didn't give the link, but I think it's either that or that.

Or this one.

Or possibly this one.

They all confirm my hunch and confirm Doctor's words.

Doctorow besides pointed out the possible reaction of the BRICS countries to Russian policy of concessions. They can turn distant from Russia erstwhile they feel that it is not a protection against the increasing economical force and threats from the US.

If the West fails, the Russian policy of moving red lines and turning the another cheek may shortly end! It appears that the Russian political elite has come to the conclusion that the time has come for Russia's tough consequence to the expanding provocations and escalation of the war in Ukraine. That if there is no specified answer, there will yet be a disaster. For now, it is simply a subtle emphasis on Putin, but Doctorow assumes that if he is inactive besides soft for the West, individual else may be in his place. And then the West will miss Putin.

And it'll be fun...

P.S.

Doctorow talks about 14.10, so it's a mediate link, but it's just a fragment, seemingly the full 1 either wasn't, or it's already been removed. Who cares – here is the full (but only in Russian)

I was most amused by the conversation with Chodarenok and the banknote with Dzierżynski. It was a show of complete ignorance about what the monetary strategy is!
