The largest of them, led by the Massachusetts territory Attorney, concerns the transmission of incorrect cost data, leading to the conclusion by the US on behalf of abroad partners of overvalue agreements. The 2 contracts afraid were awarded between 2012 and 2013 and 2017-2018, including the supply of strategy components Patriot for 3 fire units (FMS agreement awarded in 2013 worth $600 million) and modernization and support of reflection radar for the same partner (FMS agreement granted in 2017). Officially, the U.S. authorities do not say what kind of state the contract concerned, but according to Taiwanese and Chinese media it may be Taiwan, and Taipei is expected to receive a refund of overpaid funds from the United States (probably from damages that the national government will pay RTX).
