Law and Justice calls for the participation in the demonstration of support for erstwhile MON chief Marius Błaszczak, who is due to hear allegations in the prosecutor's office this Friday. It is about his revealing scandalous plans of the PO-PSL government to retreat the defence of the Polish territory to the 2011 Vistula line.
In September 2023, then Minister of National Defence Mariusz Błaszczak declassified papers drawn up in the course of the regulation of the PO-PSL, which indicated that Poland, in the event of an attack from Russia, would defend itself on the Vistula line, which was equivalent to surrendering east Poland.
First, Tusk camp politicians claimed that declassified papers were fiction, but later they accused Błaszczak of revealing Poland's defence strategy. After Donald Tusk took power, the prosecution launched an investigation and now intends to press charges against the erstwhile head of the MON. Blaszczak believes that revealing specified scandalous and archival defence plans was his work to society. Law and Justice after taking power in 2015 completely changed Poland's defence strategy, so plans developed for the governments of PO-PSL went to the archive.
