The Bank’s communication uses the form “Marie Curie (from Skłodowska House)”, without the Polish drone. Against this, the Polish government protested. The head of the ECB Christine Lagarde received a letter from Marcin Kulaska, head of the Ministry of discipline and Higher Education. It was not meant to find the origin of a scientist. Furthermore, the decision whether the image of the Polish Nobel laureate will appear at all on the banknote depends on what the subject of the fresh series of banknotes will be.
