The “To Things”, or conservative, pro-government weekly magazine, has thus far changed its very favorable attitude towards the governing Law and Justice. Let's look at the cover that the readers of this periodical will see this week:

“To Things” this time powerfully criticizes Prime Minister Morawiecki, a faithful and trusted man Jarosław Kaczyński, who, despite opposition from many factions in the United Right (e.g. Zbigniew Ziobro, Beata Szydło, Jacek Sasin, Mariusz Błaszczak) towards the Prime Minister, inactive counts on him.

Mateusz Morawiecki turned out to be a loser, due to the fact that even though he was the hope of the PiS to unlock funds from KPO, they inactive did not scope Poland. Although the Government of the United Right has undertaken to implement a number of milestones, the strength of the persuasion and negotiating capacity of Morawiecki was insufficient for Poles to receive immense money from European structures. Morawiecki besides made a sabotage act in the pre-election debate on TVP erstwhile he spoke of a "red band", referring to Donald Tusk. erstwhile referring to the "golden, beautifully made vase from Putin", he besides did not improve his situation with respect to the reception of the image.

Morawiecki, who was expected to be the voice of reason and the personification of moderation in the Jarosław Kaczyński party, chose full polarization and joined the full choir of politicians of his formation, who in the run put on a thunderbolt at Donald Tusk in the first place. Therefore, it cannot be amazing that right-wing media blame his failure, after all, he was the face, frontman of the PiS campaign, which was a mostly negative campaign. This made PiS incapable to convince the ‘normals’, centrists, only to consolidate the hard electorate.

“To Things” could number on government support

So now we see that journalists “To Things” have gained courage, previously received financial support from the Law and Justice. In May 2022, the Virtual Media Service described the structure of the advertising expenses of state-owned companies. 1 of the beneficiaries was “To the Thing”:

"In the last year, the advertising expenditures of state-owned companies increased by 7.6% to PLN 1,238 billion – according to the analysis of prof. UW Tadeusz Kowalski, based on the monitoring of Kantar Media. The government and central offices increased their promotion spending by nearly 40% in the year to PLN 536 million. In the SSP newspapers, they spent PLN 134 million, on tv as much as PLN 587 million. State advertisers have their media preferences in which they advance – on this list is TVP, Polish Radio, the weekly “Networks”, “Gazeta Polska” and “To Things”, Polish Press (which belongs to PKN Orlen) and “Gazeta Polska Daily”.

As for “To the Thing”, let us callback an crucial part of the text “State Treasury companies spent 1.23 billion PLN on advertising last year. Hundreds of thousands of PLN flow to the “Networks”, “Polish Newspapers Daily” and “To Things”:

"To the Thing Tygodnik is most supported by Orlen (2.7 million), and PGNiG (1.8 million)".

Two weeks ago, “To the Thing” marked the 3rd parliamentary word of the Law and Justice:
