Court: The Last Generation is simply a criminal group

The Last Generation changes its name, but announces further protests
The group defines the prosecution's decision as "attack on civilian society engagement as a pillar of democracy".
In December 2023, a period after the judgement of the court, The Climate Initiative of the Last Generation has given up its current name, although it has not formally resolved. However, a change in forms of protest was announced.
27-year-old Hinrichs in a conversation with “Der Spiegel” announced that "Something new, something great" will appear from the structures of the organization, stressing that the protests will continue.
Where did the Last Generation come from?
The group's name referred to the conviction of activists that they belong to the last generation, which can inactive halt the climate disaster.
