Prof. Zbigniew Chłap died – a well-deserved doctor, scientist, activist of Solidarity

On 15 May this year, prof. Zbigniew Chryp, a well-deserved and well-known doctor, scientist and lecturer, social activist and associate of "Solidarity", father of Dr. Justyna Chryp-Nowak and father-in-law of Prof. Andrzej Nowak.

Zbigniew Chłap was born in 1928 in Dąbrowa Górnicza. By education, he was a doctor.
He was a prof. of medical science.
During planet War II, he fought in the Grey Lines; he worked at the Cracow Academy
Medical, later converted at the Collegium Medicum UJ, where he was a lecturer,
Head of Cathedral and Dean. He was besides head of the Chair of Clinical Pathology
University of Orana (Algeria), provincial specialist for the pathomorphology of wolves.
Krakow and Nowo Sądecki, associate of the National Pathomorphology Team,
Head of the Department of Clinical Pathology of the University of Orana (Algeria), and
Member of the Committee of Pathomorphology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow and the Committee of Medical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences
there. He was besides a associate of the PAU Medical Commission in Kraków and the Papal Committee
Pro Vita Academy in Vatican, besides worked at universities in Tunisia and Morocco.
In 1995, he initiated and organized the Association of Hope Doctors in Krakow, to which
later he led; he besides belonged to the wellness Ministry Team
Conference of the Polish Episcopal or the Group of Bioethical Experts on KEP and many
other Polish and abroad medical and social associations.
Prof. Zbigniew Chłap has been active in “Solidarity” for many years.
