Professor Adam Strzembosz's ceremony will be held today.
Professor Adam Strzembosz was the First president of the ultimate Court from 1990 to 1998. He was president of the National Judicial Council from 1994 to 1998. active in democratic change and creating the foundations of independency of the Polish judiciary – between 1989 and 1990 he was Deputy Minister of Justice.
From the point of view of the Institute of Justice, it is crucial that prof. Adam Strzembosz conducted investigation at the Department of household Law and Youth at the Institute for the survey of Judicial Law from 1974 to 1982, which in later years was changed into the Institute of Justice. prof. Strzembosz was a specialist in household law and author of many publications published by the institute.
