The textbook "History and the Present" by Prof. Wojciech Roszkowski included a passus referring to the phenomenon called "factories" childrenIt’s okay. ” This passage raised opposition to the parents of a kid conceived by the method in vitro. The court found that the charges against the prof. had no grounds.
The fragment that caused the storm
It all started with content that the professor's opponents called dispute. The celebrated passage was:
"With medical advancement and the offensive of sex ideology, the 21st century brought further distribution of household institutions. The current inclusive household model assumes the creation of any group of people of the same sex, who will bring children into the planet in isolation from the natural relation of man and woman, preferably in a laboratory. The increasingly sophisticated methods of depriving sex from love and fertility lead to the treatment of the sex sphere as entertainment, and the spheres of fertility as human production can be said breeding. This leads to a fundamental question: who will love children made in this way? A country that takes this kind of “production” under its wing? Parental love was and will stay the basis of the identity of all human being, and its deficiency is the origin of all almost the perversions of human nature."
The parents of an in vitro kid considered these words offensive. They filed a suit against the author, and the passage was yet removed from the manual.
A process to silence questions about the nature of life
The case went to the territory Court in Krakow and continued since 2023. We see in it more than just a simple legal dispute—it was an effort to silence a voice that dared to ask fundamental questions about what human life is and what the function of the household in its transmission is. This process forms part of a wider phenomenon: efforts to remove reflection from public space on the moral consequences of breeding techniques separated from the natural order.
Judgment That Gives Justice
On 9 December 2025, the court issued a decision: the allegations against Prof. Roszkowski are unfounded.
The case was informed by Professor's attorney, Mr Krzysztof Wąsowski:
"Perhaps any of you remember how loud it was erstwhile you went to court against my Mandant – prof. Wojciech Roszkowski – for the content in his celebrated textbook "History and the Present". Mr. prof. was sued for alleged insulting children conceived by the alleged in vitro method".
And then:
"The case was pending in front of the Krakow territory Court (...), which now “in silence” – at a secret sitting – He's sentencing... completely purifying prof. Wojciech RoszkowskiIt’s okay. ”
This is an crucial minute not only for the prof. himself, but besides for all who defend the right to free, liable voice in the debate on human life and family.
Not the first attack on household truth
This was another of many attacks on Prof. Roszkowski's textbook. Earlier in October 2024, Minister Barbara Nowacka spoke about the publication:
“Remember what they were doing? They taught lies. Remember that specified subjects were introduced to schools by past and the Present. There was a lie on all page of the book. (...) They taught there how to lie and manipulate.”
These words show how hard leftist environments have tried to delegate all message guarding the conventional model of the household and the inviolable dignity of the human individual from conception.
