Politologist and historian Prof. Antoni Dudek estimated that the increasing dispute in the PiS would furniture the full right, and 1 of its beneficiaries would be president Karol Nawrocki. In an interview with the “Gazeta Wyborcza” he pointed out that the head of state had a chance to become a “great integrator” of the divided camp after the 2027 election.
A dispute within the Law and Justice has entered a phase where it is increasingly hard to talk of temporary tension. Politologist and historian Prof. Antoni Dudek looks coldly at this crack. In an interview with “Gazeta Wyborcza” he described how the conflict can redesign the full Polish right and who will truly be paid off. At the centre of his analysis was the President-in-Office.
President as a binder
According to Dudek, the crack in the PiS will change the power layout on the right side of the scene. The Politologist stated that Karol Nawrocki "will surely be 1 of the beneficiaries of what happened in the Law and Justice. In time, the president can presume the function of patron of the full camp. If, after the election, the right hand falls into 4 or 5 groups, individual will gotta effort to stitch them up. Dudek sees the head of state in this function and speaks straight of the “great integrator”. The function of an integrator would mean more than symbolic headship. It would be about real reconciling the ambitions of the leaders who present compete for the same electorate. The president stands above current disputes due to the office, which in specified a situation gives him a natural advantage.
Kaczyński is weakening
Historian reads the current dispute as a signal of the descending power of the president. He estimated that “Kaczyński is weakening, is moving the organization little and less.” According to him, the leader of the Law and Justice Service is increasingly struggling to control the people he himself has introduced to large politics. It's an crucial diagnosis. For years, the iron discipline and full control of the president were the trademark of the group. A political scientist suggests that this mechanics begins to jam, and organization goodbyes can be violent.
Morawiecki's Trouble
A separate subject concerns Mateusz Morawiecki. In Dudek's opinion, the biggest problem of the erstwhile Prime Minister is the request to simultaneously defend the achievements of the Law and offer voters something new. It's hard to do both things at erstwhile once you walk distant from the parent formation or get pushed out of it. Politologist pointed out that the consequences of the conflict between Kaczyński and Morawiecki would spread over time. The real consequences don't come out for months.
Distributed right before 2027
Dudek is gaining hope for an easy victory. The divided can besides open up a space for the Confederate to which disillusioned voters will sail. Historian predicts a “Seym full of scattered forces” alternatively than a clear win of 1 formation. In this arrangement of power, the coalition negotiations will decide, not the consequence at the urns. Therefore, a political scientist advises PiS politicians to hide their pre-emptive ambitions for the time being and does not emergence to the ranks.
It's inactive a prediction, not a fact. Dudek outlines a script in which the president gains the position of the peacekeeper of the quarreled camp. If Nawrocki wants and can carry this role, they'll show another month. Much depends on how rapidly the PiS will settle its own bills and whether there will be area for all the leaders to date. However, a political scientist does not decide that this will happen. In his opinion, it is equally likely that the right side remains broken for years and that the competition for leadership weakens the full camp. For now, the right is entering a period in which all decision of the leaders weighs more than usual, and 1 of them's mistake can find the arrangement of forces for years.
