Prof. Andrzej Paczkowski - a prominent Polish historian, academic lecturer and mountaineer died. Andrzej Paczkowski was born on 1 October 1938 in Krasnystaw. In 1960, he graduated from the Faculty of past of the University of Warsaw. In 1966, he defended his Ph.D., and 9 years later he habilitated. Until 1974 he was employed at the Institute of Literary investigation of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
