The Stańczyk Club invites to a gathering with the distinguished Polish historian Prof. Andrzej Nowak.
His lecture “Putin. Sources of imperial aggression" will be delivered on Tuesday – 21 April – at 6 p.m.
The speech will effort to answer the question of where the imperial ambitions of the Kremlin come from and what historical, ideological and geopolitical factors form Vladimir Putin's actions.
Prof. Andrzej Nowak is associated with the Jagiellonian University and the Institute of past of the Polish Academy of Sciences, where he directs investigation on the past of east Europe and empires. He is the author of dozens of books and hundreds of technological and public publications, and his interests include the political past of the 19th and 20th centuries, Russian thought and contemporary geopolitical conditions.
