According to the author of the article, Su-57 production (NATO code: Felon) began to face expanding difficulties in the following years of the war. The origin is Western sanctions that prevent and at least severely impede the acquisition of components of electronics essential for the production of machinery. These components include German modules for MPPU-50 communication devices, or at least any of their components.
