Russia has launched the production of the latest hypersonic missiles Oresznik (Russian: le) and plans to deploy them at the border with Poland, Belarus, this year. president Vladimir Putin reported that the first batch of this weapon had already entered service, and preparations for its deployment are at an advanced stage. This decision falls within the increasing tensions between Moscow and the West in connection with the war in Ukraine.
