HIMARS production accelerates

In the autumn of last year, the Camden plant increased the yearly production of HIMARS launchers from 48 to 96 units. Production expansion is supported by US Army contracts worth $2.9 billion, which funded fresh tools, additional jobs and improved supply chain. HIMARS launchers have been utilized in Ukraine since 2022, initially with GMLRS missiles, in 2023 a batch of ATACMS tactical missiles with a capacity of about 165 km, and a year later - besides ATACMS with a capacity of 300 km.
