Before the territory Court in Piotrków Trybunalski, the trial of Sebastian M., accused of causing an accident on the A1 motorway, in which a three-man household died on 16 September 2023.
On Thursday, 2 BMW passengers – Patrick K. and Arkadiusz N. – testified who were traveling with the accused. They were both under the influence of alcohol and obscured their memory, but confirmed Sebastian M. – the driver of the kii was expected to abruptly take his way, preventing the collision.
Patrick K. reported that at the time of the accident he heard the driver shout, and then he felt the impact. After leaving the car, he wanted to aid the kiya passengers, but witnesses told him no 1 survived. Arkadius N. testified that after the collision he lost consciousness, and from his friends' relationships he knows that after the accident the kia became in flames.
The court besides listened to drivers whose BMW overtaken just before the tragedy. They testified that the car was moving at a very advanced speed, and moments later they saw broken vehicles and a burning wreck.
Further interviews are scheduled for November 25. Sebastian M., detained in May in Dubai and transferred to Poland, is in custody. He's facing up to 8 years in prison.
