While visiting Bulgaria, the plane with Ursula von der Leyen lost its GPS signal just before landing in Plovdiv. The pilot spent an hr circling the airport and then brought the device to earth utilizing paper maps. According to EU officials, this is simply a consequence of Russian satellite signal interference.
